If you didn’t order your fall garden seeds this spring, it’s time to do it now. Online companies may be sold out of some varieties. Scout local garden stores for seeds before the fall rush begins.
In a couple of weeks, early August, it will be time to start many of your fall crops under lights indoors or in a protected cool place, if you choose to do so.
If you plan to buy seedlings, keep an eye out and buy them while they’re fresh, even if it’s a little early to plant them Keep them watered and in a protected area until you are ready to pop them in the garden.
