Last Saturday was a perfect day for an open house – cool and sunny. It was our first in-person public event in more than two years. VegHeadz coordinator, Carole Hayes, reports, “We had about 950 visitors to the Extension center. Many of these visitors came to the VegHeadz demo garden and were greeted by enthusiastic and knowledgeable VegHeadz.
“Produce was harvested, seeds and plants given away, and many interesting conversations were had. We have so much to share and there are many interested gardeners.”
Carole also sends thanks to all VegHeadz hosts, plant contributors, and awesome supporters for making a wonderful day of outreach and community interaction.
