iGrow Summer Urban Farm Workshop
Sign up for this workshop on what, when & how to grow to beat the heat, keelp the living easy, and the harvests bountiful. Learn about summer varieties and season extension. Also covered will be pest management, cover crops, mulching, micro-irrigation, and why your tomatoes stop bearing in the heat. Everyone takes home a tray of summer seeds you'll plant in the workshop. Led by iGrow Youth; Sundiata Ameh-El with Compost Community; Nathan Ballentine, the Man in Overalls; and Efrayim Hollis of Growing Green Gardens.
