There's
Still Time to Shop!
|
It's that time of year again! All the tomatoes are
planted and growing, and we are counting down the days till they're
ripe. Which means it's time to look forward to the 9th Annual Tomato
Feastival! It's scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 4pm-7pm at Turkey Hill Farm.
For all you poor souls who have never attended at Tomato Feastival,
you are in for a treat. This event boasts a tomato contest (with
categories for biggest, tastiest, and ugliest to name a few), covered
dish dinner, paella, cake walk, farmers market, kids activities, and
an all-around good time. AND it's a fundraiser for the Red Hills Small Farm
Alliance, the non-profit that brings you the Red Hills Online
Market.
Are you enticed? Of course you are! But here's the thing-- this year
you must pre-order a ticket, and the number of
tickets is limited. Luckily, you are a shopper with the online market,
and you are getting the inside information: buy a ticket to the Tomato
Feastival with the Red Hills Online Market and the reduced price
special. Make sure to buy one soon before they sell out!
