Congratulations to the folks in Midtown who are starting a new community garden. The new garden will be located in the park at the corner of 9th Avenue and Terrace Street. Keep an eye on the area as they complete approval by the City and start developing the garden.
I have half a bed at this location. I improved the soil with composted horse manure buried under topsoil. Have just pick last of leaf lettuce and large rutabaga. lots of kale to go.
