We're always looking for sources of good scientific information about gardening. Unsupported claims about quick fixes for plant nutrition, pest control and other gardening issues don't carry much weight with us.
A recent suggestion by a fellow Master Gardener led us to the Gardening Professors blog. Created by four university professors, the blog has information with a sound basis in scientific research for home gardeners.
Another source of information from Land Grant extensions (like ours) from all over the Us is Extension.org.
A recent post on cover crops is the first in a four part series on cover crops, and starts with detailing the advantages of cover crops. We've added this site to our list of places to look for dependable gardening information.
