Wondering when vegetables are ready to harvest?

Knowing when to harvest your vegetables is important.  It would be a shame to end months of work and anticipation with overripe or underdeveloped vegetables.  Check out this posting of Gardening in the Panhandle for some pointers on when to harvest summer vegetables.  Also, be careful about watering during this rainy season.  Soggy plants can suffer.  Another Gardening in the Panhandle article addresses this issue.
